SODECO- SAIA at TELECOM 1975 in GENEVA (SWITZERLAND)

As previously stated in 1971, our company is attending this important event, at the International Union of  Telecommunications, (UIT, or ITU in English), this year, and has organized a special display. It is worth highlighting, that this event is the first and only specialty display of this kind anywhere. The Media used the description “international market of telecommunications.” The product area T (Telephonie), displayed its special products especially promoting a worldwide novelty, the Phonocard. We are dealing here with a public telephone, that operates using a prepaid magnetic card.  The time, where one has to quickly search for small loose coins during a telephone conversation, will soon be, only a bad memory.

Telephone cashcard payment, the Phonocard: cutting edge technology that permits, by means of a prepaid card, cashless payment for local, national, and international telephone calls.
