ONLINE MUSEUM for OPTICAL CARDS' SYSTEMS

We are letting all our collecting friends know of the loss of one of our collecting friends Rolf Maul. We want to say our thoughts and sympathy are with his family, and we would also like to express our sadness, and profound sense of loss of a good friend and fellow collector. Rolf was a famous & very advanced collector for german Phonecards (all systems) and he also wrote specialized articles about german phonecards (see "Published Articles" section of this website about optical-cards from Frankfurt-am-Main). Rolf caught the Landis & Gyr fever and was very active in the quest of early Landis & Gyr phonecards from European countries. He was a purist with a large knowledge about early phonecards, always collecting evidences about phonecards, he made a great job for the Phonecards' community !

We express these thoughts with thanks to Rolf, rest in peace friend, on behalf of the Phonecard collecting international community.

Leider müssen wir euch heute über den plötzlichen Tod unseres allseits geschätzten und sehr beliebten Sammlerfreundes Rolf Maul informieren.

In tiefer Trauer möchte ich seiner Familie mein herzlichtes Beileid aussprechen. Er war mir immer ein sehr guter Freund und absoluter Experte in unserem gemeinsamen Hobby. Der Verlust für unsere Sammlergemeinschaft wird leider nicht mehr auszugleichen sein, denn sein Wissen und seine Kompetenz in Sachen Landis & Gyr waren einzigartig. Zu allen Fragen wusste er fast immer eine Antwort und teilte sein Wissen mit der Sammlergemeinschaft.

Mit diesen Gedanken möchte ich noch einmal auch im Namen der Telefonkarten Gemeinschaft seiner Familie unser Beileid aussprechen und ihm die ewige Ruhe und Frieden wünschen.
